CAPSITE Pat Timbrook Scholarship Program

Scholarship Applications Due Monday, September 22, 2025!

CAPSITE has been serving the Transportation Engineers and Planners in DC, Maryland, and Virginia for many years. We have brought professionals together in various events to exchange ideas and create synergy within the field. In addition, we have shown our commitment to the student community by making all of our events/meetings free to students to encourage interaction between the student community and transportation professionals. CAPSITE has also organized events such as resume workshops, career counseling, and presentation opportunities at various university campuses to engage the students.

Continuing with our involvement and encouragement of the student community, CAPSITE provides an annual student scholarship. This scholarship is aimed to recognize students for their hard work while encouraging them to fulfill their course work in transportation and pursue a career in the field of transportation. This scholarship in intended to appreciate and provide financial support to students who have demonstrated extraordinary interest in the transportation field. The scholarship will be award to up to three undergraduate or graduate students in the amount of $1,000 each.

In 2020, CAPSITE (then WDCSITE) named this scholarship in honor of Pat Timbrook, owner and founder of T3 Design, who passed away earlier that year. Click here for more information on Pat Timbrook and her contributions to the industry, the region, and the development of young professionals.
